Ninja Climb is a 2D platformer built in Unreal Engine 4 with C++ for Android devices. The user is presented with an infinitely generating level which they must climb. Players can collect coins, slash at enemies, and control movement by tilting their device.
This project started as a way to develop my skills with Unreal Engine 4, and to ensure that I was able to use modern engines. Whilst a 2D game wasn’t necessarily suited to UE4, it did serve as a very useful educational tool for myself.
You can download Ninja Climb on the Google Play Store.
The final score is calculated by a combination of the number of enemies killed, the difficulty the user was playing on, and the number of coins collected. The high score is stored on each device, and if the user surpasses it then it is updated.
